He is survived by: his wife Iona T. Smith; his children, Lakisha, Ryan, Avis, Carl Smith and Robert Andrew Smith; and his siblings, Percy, Harry, Edward Charles and Jessie Smith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
