He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Day, Sr. and Beulah J. Day; and his siblings, Kim Day Lewis (Forrest), Herman Day, Jr. and John Day.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lionel Day (Valerie), James Day, JoAnn Day and Elaine Day Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
