Sam left this world on November 30, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Sam may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sam touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Bailey, Jr. and Willie Dean Chess Bailey; and his brother Bernard Foley. He is survived by: his children, Sam IV and Samreail Bailey; his grandchildren, Sam V, Marc, Imanie and Avery; and his siblings, Vanessa Bailey King, LaToya Bailey Williams (Michael, Sr.) and Michael Foley (Rachelle). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carissa Venue (111 Wright Ave b, Terrytown, LA 70056).
