Mire of Marrero, Louisiana, born in San Francisco, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 62. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sandra had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie "Lorraine" Foster; and her father-in-law George Mire (Nettie Young). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Mire; her father Calvin Foster; her siblings, Alan Foster Sr. (Karen), Sherry McDaniel (Mitchell) and Theresa Foster; her mother-in-law Ernestine Jacobsen (Roy Sr.); and her brother-in-law Randy Mire (Tracy). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sandy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that was especially close to her heart.
