It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanessa Chauvin Rodriguez of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlis Chauvin and Dorothy Chauvin; her parents-in-law, Ellen and Russell Rodriguez Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Patti DeNicola and Allen Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her spouse Marcell Rodriguez; her child Christian Rodriguez; her daughter-in-law Natie Rodriguez; her grandson Chance Rodriguez; her stepgrandchildren, Victoria and Miguel Wilches; her siblings-in-law, Danielle Rodriguez, Judith and Russell Rodriguez Jr.; her sisters, Veronica Cantrelle, Yvonne Prestenbach and Denise Shaffer; and her close friends, Omalee Gordon and Cheryl Dufrene.
