It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanda Barrios in Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin J. Barrios; her grandmother Amelia Richardson Seminary; her parents, Kathryn Landwehr and Walter St Claire Tansey; her child Nicles "Nicky" Barrios; and her sisters, Loretta Landwehr and Faye Palaunch.
She is survived by: her children, Melony Mouton (Ray) and Shayne Barrios (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Matthew Moline and Kristen Dalton-Adams; her great grandchildren, Hunter Nicles Adams and Sean Landon Joseph Adams; and her brother Kenneth Landwehr (Toni).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
