It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendy Michelle Brathwaite of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Rogelio Brathwaite, Sr.; her parents, Dave Smith and Maude Smith; and her sisters, Veronica Thornton (Willie) and Debra Willis (Malcolm).

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Simone Smith and Marica Jackson (Jerry); her friend Melvin Showers; and her close friend Yvonne Vincent. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
