With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Guidry Breaux of Mathews, Louisiana, born in Raceland, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Roland; her parents, Hypolite Guidry Sr. and Laura Babin Guidry; and her siblings, Cecil Guidry, Hypolite "Lick" Guidry Jr., Isabelle Plaisance and Rena Allemand.

She is survived by: her children, Dean M. Breaux, Marty J. Breaux, Amy E. Breaux and Jan L. Breaux; her sisters, Vella "Fee" Knight and Doris "Dotie" Dufrene; her grandchildren, Chelsea Breaux Pellegrin (Tre), Chad Breaux, Cory Breaux, Chance Breaux, Caden Williams and Lauren Breaux; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson Pellegrin, Danny Breaux, Seline Breaux and Jace Breaux.
