It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Balfantz (Maurepas, Louisiana), who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Marchand and Christina Balfantz; her parents, Arthur Delatte and Esther Delatte; and her brothers, Delton, David and Gilbert Delatte.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Balfantz; her daughter Kelli Brown (Mike); her grandchildren, Kayla McCormick, Zachary McCormick (Emily), Keegan, Saylor and Brogyn Marchand; her stepgranddaughter Emily Brown; her siblings, Emelda Fontenot and Nolan Delatte; and her son-in-law Kel Marchand.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Stephen Catholic Church (22502 LA-22, Maurepas, LA 70449). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maurepas Cemetery.
