It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Joe Honsinger (Maurepas, Louisiana), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Honsinger and Byra Crockett Parks; and his stepfather James Parks. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Honsinger (Donald), Michelle Honsinger and Malane Melancon (Richie); his grandchildren, Taylor Leon, Caroline Stewart, Madison Hartman, Harley Gardner, Jules Martin III, Kennedi Melancon and Haleigh Martin; and his brother Russell Wayne Honsinger. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Maurepas Baptist Church.
