He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Joubert and Marie Joubert; his son Joseph Kenneth Jaubert Jr.; his siblings, Hebert, Sidney "Donald" Joubert, Christopher "Chris" Joubert and Ruby J. Pellerin; and his brother-in-law Karl Wills.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Ann Romero Jaubert; his children, Paul Jaubert (Lisa) of Opelousas, Charles Jaubert (Mandy) of Broussard, Ashley Richard of Plano Texas and Kenneth Richard Jr. (Christina) of Maurice; his grandchildren, Drake Jaubert, Brailey Jaubert, Mary Claire Dunaway (Wyatt), Christian Jaubert, Elizabeth Jaubert, Joey Jaubert and Sheree Jaubert; his great grandchild Wyatt "Chip" Dunaway; and his sisters, Patricia Wills of Baton Rouge and Mary Ann Turner (Buddy) of Baton Rouge.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (8700 Maurice Ave, Maurice, LA 70555). A rosary was held on Monday, April 20th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 21st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (1610 Evangeline Rd, Jennings, LA 70546).
