He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Tyus Lemoine; his daughter Catherine; his parents, Joseph Lawrence Lemoine, Sr. and Glory Hope Colley Farley; and his grandparents, Carroll Charles Colley, Elizabeth Hope Merriweather Colley, Pierre Adras Lemoine and Ethel Cahanin Lemoine.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah Elaine (Cris), Joseph Lawrence III (Caitlin), Zachary Alan (Ashley), Laura Anne (Kory), Joshua Joseph and Nicholas Alexander; his grandchildren, Kassiel, Lilianne, Genevieve, Anneliese, Jolie, Boston, Adrian, Brittany and Austin; his siblings, Hope, Mary, Bill, Mamie and John; and his close friend Jodi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to honor Joe in the way he would have wanted—by helping someone fix something, by offering your time to someone in need, or by simply doing a good deed without expecting anything in return. Donations in his name in lieu of flowers may also be made to M.D. Anderson or Lourdes J.D. Moncus Cancer Center, both of which cared for his wife and daughter, or to the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
