He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeneus Hebert and Editha Broussard; and his siblings, Emedia Vincent, Regina Girouard, Mildred Trahan, Edlar, Nole, Albert and Nolton Hebert.
He is survived by: his wife Velta Prejean; his children, Richard Hebert (Tammy), Randy Hebert (Janine) and Christine Duhon; and his grandsons, Jude, Shane, Cody Hebert, Scotty Thibodeaux, Justin Broussard and Albert Granger Jr. A. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
