I was once the roommate for two quarters with her son, Robert Owen, while at Louisiana Tech in the 1980's. Robert adored his sweet and talented mother and she cared for him through a terminal illness - with the inspiring courage of a lioness defending her cub. My deepest condolences to her entire family and friends.”
