He was predeceased by: his father Ricky Lee Chiasson; and his grandparents, Emily Fabacher, Stafford Verett and Fred Chiasson. He is survived by: his son Ricky Lee James "RJ" Verret; his mother Kimberly Verret; his siblings, Dawn Hebert (Andre), Jeffrey Sonnier (Summer Meaux) and Jillian Sonnier (Mason Rutledge); his nephews, Shawn and Spencer Landry; his grandmother Mary Chiasson; and his close friends, Anthony and Haley Gaspard.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555).
