It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julio Cesar Calix of Meraux, Louisiana, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julio Cesar Calix to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalia Calix and Julio Valle; his aunt Concepcion Pena; his cousins, Yolanda Pena and Joseph Crespo; and his nephew David Calix.
He is survived by: his son Julio; his significant other Carol Lynette Fletcher; his daughters, Melissa Lynn Cazaux and Alicia Concepcion Calix; his grandchildren, Paul Leman Roberts, Dymond Jade White and Gage Michael White (Ashleigh); his great grandchildren, Stephanie Marie White, Lloyd Lee White and Conor John White; his brother Rolando Valle Calix (Bobbi); his cousins, Marie Crespo Smith (Roger) and Dolores Crespo Albarado (Rickey); Leopoleina Pena.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chalmette Church of Christ (200 De La Ronde Dr, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
