He was predeceased by: his siblings, Fred, Juanita, Bob, Mary, Kenny, Doris and Earl.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Linda" Mackles Payne; and his children, Larry Payne, Peggy Payne Molero, Lola Payne Adams, Ralph Payne, Jr., Fred J. Payne and Daisy Good Payne. He is also survived by his children, 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jackson Barracks Multi Use Complex (1-209 Jackson Barracks, New Orleans, LA 70117). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
