He was predeceased by : his mother Minnie Beatrice Turner (Samuel Paul Bangle); his son John Mark Bangle; his father Samuel Bangle; and his siblings, Harold "Mike" Bangle, Chester "Chet" Bangle, William "Bill" Bangle, Richard "Dick" Bangle, Phillip "Phil" Bangle, Albert E. Bangle, Alice Heron, Letha Acheson and Phyllis Lutz.

He is survived by : his wife Kate Bangle; his children, Laurie Leos (George), Bonnie White and Brad Bangle (Brigid); his grandchildren, Brianna White, George Leos, Stephanie Crowley (Vince), Lindsay Konlande (Alex), David Leos and Mollie Bangle; his siblings, Virgina Cook of Wichita, Norma Lemon of Hill City, Minnie Gano (Vern) of Spanaway and Jesse; and his friend Joan Harkin. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
