She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim LeDoux and Anna Andrepont LeDoux; her husband Howard Fontenot; and her brothers, Allen and Alvin "Noon" LeDoux.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Fontenot Landry (Anthony) and Joseph H. Janise, Jr. (Bertha); and her grandchildren, Shannon Olivier (Aaron), Carl Janise (Michelle), Lacey Landry, Heather Landry and A. J. Landry. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, one step great grandchild; and one great great grandson.
