She was predeceased by: her parents, Ricardo Latigay and Kazuyo Latigay; and her siblings, Chiyoko Mark, Teruko Migita, Yaeko Goo, Seichi, Shoji, Takeshita, Yoshio, Katsushi, Akio Katayama and Richard Latigay.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Bennett of Hawaii, Debbie Benfield, James of Merryville, LA, Alton "AJ" Bennett, Jr. and Marisol of San Diego, CA; her sister Sueko Burns; her grandchildren, Kekoa Bennett, Josh, Rose Benfield, Sean Benfield and Pete Bennett; her great grandchildren, Logan, Izabella and Damien; and her brother Jerry Hext (Mark Norwood). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
