He was predeceased by: his father Freddie Boyer; his aunt Ina; and his uncles, Elroy, Bobby, Henry and Odell.

He is survived by: his mother Helen Boyer; his siblings, Mittie, Freddie and Elizabeth (Jason); his child Erin; his aunts, Catherine, Joan and Marguerite; and his cousins, Henry (Margaret), Wynne (Neil), Aimee, Lee (Edna), Katie (Carlos), Mark (Jessica), Kim (Scott), Teddy (Trudy), Yvonne, Charlene (James) and Linda (Jerrod). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that Masses be offered for the repose of Ben's soul.
