We bid farewell to Burde Laxminarayan Kamath of Metairie, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 1, 2025 at the age of 80. Burde Laxminarayan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Panduranga and Viraja; and his brother Madhusudhan. He is survived by: his wife Urmila; his children, Meghana Hemphill (Timothy) and Mithun (Callie); his grandchildren, Neel and Arthi Hemphill; and his siblings, Narasimha, Chitra, Malini and Rajesh. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and numerous friends.
