He was predeceased by: his brother Garrett Bertaut; and his grandparents, Alvin Bertaut, Sr., Louise Boudreaux and Dudley Boudreaux. He is survived by: his parents, Al Bertaut, Jr. and Dayna Bertaut; his siblings, Connor Bertaut, Emma Bertaut and Evan Bertaut; his grandmother M'Liss Bertaut; his uncles, Billy Bertaut (Yvette), Michael Bertaut and David Boudreaux Sr. (Dona); his aunt Alison Larriviere (Jerry); and his cousins, Ashley Stickman (George), Henry Stickman, Grace Stickman, Kristen Bertaut, Jacob Larriviere, Jarod Larriviere, Jack Larriviere, David Boudreaux Jr. and Lisa Boudreaux. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to American Childhood Cancer Organization, http://www.acco.org, and to the National Brain Tumor Society, http://www.braintumorsociety.org, in memory of Cole Bertaut.
