He is survived by: his children, Daniel Anthony Talbot, II, Sharon Talbot Henning, Kathryn Talbot and Lynn Talbot Rebstock; his children-in-law, Frank Henning, Mike Rebstock and Co'lette Dugas Talbot; his grandchildren, Daniel A. Talbot, III, Nicholas Talbot Hamilton, Jonathan Clark Talbot, Patrick Francis Henning, Madelyn Rebstock Riley, Marc Anthony Henning, Michael Adam Rebstock and Josephine Henning Barnard; his grandchildren-in-law, Evan Riley, Garrett Barnard, Kristen DeRouen Talbot, Kelli St. Romain Hamilton, Chelsea Bohny Henning, Meredith Little Henning and Emily Lewis Rebstock; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Jackson Hamilton, Stella, Sadie Talbot and McKenzie Riley; his brother Roland Talbot; his sister-in-law Grace Pizolatto Talbot; and his wife Susie.

He went on to complete his internship at Charity Hospital and his surgical residency at the VA Hospital in New Orleans.
