He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bernard and Arthemise Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Angie Ernst Bernard; his sister-in-law Estelle Lemoine (Houston); and his nieces, Celeste Capace (late Nicholas) and Alicia Cockfield (Josh).
