It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Joel Campbell of Metairie, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Donna Finnie Campbell; his parents, Benedict J. Campbell and Elizabeth Lotspeich Campbell; and his brothers, Benedict J. Campbell Jr., Donald H. Campbell and Kenneth S. Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Behrens Quinlan Campbell; his son Hoyt M. Quinlan (Mary); his granddaughter Carleigh A. Quinlan; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Barbara Campbell; and his sibling's children, Paul, Heather, Tracey, Leslie and Crystal.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
