With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David E. Lourie P. E. of Metairie, Louisiana, who passed away on February 11, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Eugene and Theodora Merekas Lourie. He is survived by: his brother Walter Lourie (Stephanie Bialobok). He is also survived by numerous cousins, friends.
