He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Pelletere Young and Gerard B. Young; and his brothers, Donald Young (Susan) and Daniel Young (Madrina). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Porthieux Young; his children, Melissa Young Henry (René), David Young Jr. (Stephanie) and Jonathan Young; his grandchildren, Sebastian (Sydney), Kassidy and Landyn; his siblings, Mary Young Powell (Tommy) and Denis Young (Jude); his brother-in-law Wayne Ponthieux (Donna); and his nieces and nephews, Amy, Alicia, Matthew, Kathleen, Rebecca, Chad, Chelby, Madaleine, Mikaela, Jessica and Lindsey.
