Deacon Raymond E. Heap Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deacon Raymond E. Heap of Metairie, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Kent Heap and Florence McCoy Heap; his son Raymond E. Heap, Jr.; and his siblings, Edwin Heap (Aimee), James H. Heap (Veronica), Catherine Heap Voizin (Merlin), Robert H. Heap (Jerri), Dorothy Heap McDow (Wayne), Joseph L. Heap (Joann), Theodore F. Heap (Mary Ann) and Gerald A. Heap (Gayle).

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Johnson Heap; his daughter Tho Vo Nguyen (Hung); and his granddaughters, Jennifer and Annemarie Nguyen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, Mass are preferred.
