He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrthee Waguespack and Adam Waguespack, Sr.; and his brothers, Adam Waguespack, Jr., George Waguespack, Lloyd Waguespack, Sr. and Clifford Waguespack.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Dufresne Waguespack; his children, Brad Waguespack (Linda), Brent Waguespack (Robin), Brook Waguespack (Regina) and Bentley W. Rauch (Steve); his grandchildren, Alex Waguespack (Amy), Evan Waguespack (Laura), Bobbie Campbell (Shane), Brandelyn Rauch, Brianna Rauch, Brenner Rauch, Karlee Waguespack and Kyle Waguespack; his great grandchildren, Ethan Campbell and Edith Waguespack; and his brother Lester Waguespack, Sr. (Alice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
