She was predeceased by: her husband Salvador Anthony Portera, Jr.; her parents, Frank Kolwe, Sr. and Agnes Farrelly; and her siblings, Frank Kolwe (Rita), Evelyn K. Giroir (Frank), John Kolwe (Joanne), Marion Kolwe, Ronald Kolwe (Joanne) and Kathleen K. Shields (Billy).
She is survived by: her sister Anne K. Spaulding (George); her daughters, Stephanie Portera Jabes (Aaron) and Jeanette Portera Milby; and her grandsons, Anthony P. Milby and Andrew P. Milby. She is also survived by her 18 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
