Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Esther P Light (Metairie, Louisiana), born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away at the age of 94, on April 1, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Plantowsky and Rose Spice Plantowsky; and her spouse Dr. Sidney S. Light. She is survived by: her children, Simona Light Herring of Birmingham and Ronald Light of Metairie, Louisiana.; her grandchildren, Rose Herring Cobb (Thomas) and Wesley Herring of Birmingham; her great grandchildren, Sidney Callaway Cobb and Charlotte Esther Cobb of Birmingham; her sister Leah Stone; her son Richard Light; her son-in-law Charles C. Herring; and her sister Saralyn Bronfin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
