She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Edward McHugh and Mary Evans McHugh; her son John Johnson; and her stepson Harold Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jarold Dean Smith; her brother Michael McHugh; her children, Jennifer Crews, Jeff, Jay, Joe and Jim Johnson; and her stepchildren, Tracy Smith and Jarold Smith. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
