The family announces the passing of George Kenneth Rice of Metairie, Louisiana on September 6, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Gulker Rice and Ernest Webb Rice; and his brothers, Ernie Webb Rice Jr. and Benjamin Keith Rice. He is survived by: his wife Fay Duplantier Rice; his children, Nicole Rice Maurin (James Maurin) and Kyle Kenneth Rice; his grandchildren, Tyler Maurin (Erin Maurin) and Megan Maurin; and his great grandchild Hallie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Timothy (335 Asbury Dr, Mandeville, LA 70471). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
