It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Marie Wright of Metairie, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Dragon and Sidney Dragon; her daughter Gidget Royes; and her siblings, Althea Dragon, Anthony, Benny and Raymond Dragon.

She is survived by: her husband George H. Wright Jr.; her son Garrick Wright; her grandchildren, Kristyne Moore, Krystal Moore, Ian Wright, Givin Wright, Owen Wright, Serenity Royes, Justus Royes and Ethan Wright; her great grandchildren, Sophia and Stephan Guarneri; her nieces and nephews, Theresa, Laura Dragon, Bruce, Sidney and Carl Dragon; Donna Dupree and Joanne Fried.
