He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius O'Brien and Marguerite O'Brien; his siblings, Mary Lou Kennedy, Cornelius O'Brien, Jr. and Edmond O'Brien; his wife Mary Ann H. O'Brien; and his child Jerry O'Brien, Jr. (Jerry).
He is survived by: his sister Ellen Odem; his children, Bonnie Fischer (Greg), Gregory O'Brien (Aleta) and Madelyn Klein (Les); and his grandchildren, Collin, Camille, Corrie, Casey, Caitlyn, Gregory Jr., Lauren and Greggie. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
