He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vanderbrook and Margaret Vanderbrook; and his siblings, Fred Vanderbrook (Margaret), Joseph Vanderbrook (Norma), Henry Vanderbrook, Jr. (Joyce), Joyce V. Freeman (John) and William Vanderbrook (Beverly).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Meyers Vanderbrook; his daughters, Susan Vanderbrook and Jean V. Derenbecker (David); his granddaughters, Jessica Derenbecker and Kaitlyn Farner (Jef); his great grandchild Addison Mae Farner; and his caregiver Breni Crabtree. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
