He is survived by: his wife Juana F. Adams; his children, Yorleny J. Adams Jorge A. (Johanna), Juliet S. Adams (Yul) and James H. Adams (Tito); his grandchildren, Catherine E. Medina (Chicky Chicky), Celeste M. Adams-Funez (Tita), Ricardo E. Cruz (Tatanca Jr), Matthew J. Adams (Mateo), Dana C. Garcia, Yorleny R. Adams (Rachelita), Emily I. Garcia (Chuch) and Kenneth A. Adams-Erazo; his great grandchildren, Prince Y. Santana and Lyon V. Medina; and his pet Dixie (Dixieleeks).
He also had a generous heart, regularly donating to organizations such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Salvation Army, always willing to give back and help others.
