He was predeceased by: his father Michael Douglas Knaps; his brother-in-law John Joseph Guercio; and his grandparents, Anna, Ronald Schnauder, Louis and Virginia Knaps.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Hauge Knaps; his children, Kaiden Knaps, Taylor Knaps and Jackson Knaps; his mother Constance Schnauder Knaps; his siblings-in-law, Joy and Richard Blanchfield; his siblings, Roni Knaps Guercio and Andrew Michael Knaps; his sister-in-law Jillian Knaps; his nieces and nephews, Jadyn Guercio, Olivia Morrish, Jacob, Landon Knaps, Emma, Amelia and Harper Knaps; his brother-in-law Kenny Hull; and his nephews, Caleb and Evan Hull. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
