It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Jacob Vollenweider Sr. of Metairie, Louisiana, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Joanna Esta Vollenweider; his granddaughter Jennifer Marie Lind; his parents, Morris Joseph Vollenweider, Sr. and Rosalie DeLuca Wright Vollenweider; and his siblings, Morris J. Vollenweider, Jr., Raymond A. Vollenweider, Sr., Joseph G. Wright, Sr. and Mary Wright Robin.

He is survived by : his children, John Vollenweider, Jr. (Evie) and Julie Vollenweider Lind (Chris, Sr.); his grandchildren, Christopher Lind, Jr., Caitlin and Kirsten Vollenweider; his sisters, Gloria Vollenweider Stromeyer and Betty Jean Vollenweider Reed; and his friend Jackie Casey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
