John Patrick Galloway Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Patrick Galloway (Metairie, Louisiana), born in Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell Galloway and Bernice O'Neal Galloway; and his cousin Sonny Boy O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Rene; his children, John Patrick Galloway Jr. (Monica Rosero Galloway), Manuel Philip Galloway and Caroline Galloway Wasson (Chip Wasson); his stepdaughters, Lynn Harvey Ramos (Dion Ramos), Sarah Harvey Ogden (Michael Ogden) and Beth Harvey Watkins (William Watkins); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Donovan Wasson, Gabriella Roby Wasson, Allison Lea Ramos, Wesley Karl Ramos, Cason James Ramos, Katherine Ogden Christensen, Brian Edward Ogden, Ella Corine Watkins, William Crawford Watkins and Isabelle Lee Watkins; his brother Thomas Russell Galloway (Connie Galloway); the mother of his children Doris Donovan Galloway; and his cousin Ralph O'Neal. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Burial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 in Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville, 2202 Military Hwy.
