He was predeceased by : his parents, Rosemary Cacamo Illg and Ferdinand J. Illg. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Fischer Illg; his children, John Robert Illg, Jr. (Jeanne), Brian Christian Illg, Sr. (Michelle), Mary Deborah Boudreaux and Erin Elizabeth Graham (Chris); his grandchildren, Courtney Illg, Sean Boudreaux, Jason Boudreaux, Christian Illg, Robert Illg, Jack Graham and Olivia Graham; his brothers, Richard, Glenn Illg and Gottfried; his sister-in-law Christine Fischer Balfantz; his nieces and nephews, Leslie Illg Forestier (Chad), Julie Illg Childress (Gary), Jodi Illg McCoy, Lisa Beth Balfantz (Taj), Joseph Balfantz (Ali), Rachel Balfantz (Brad) and Drew Balfantz (Paige); and his aunt Joyce Cacamo Ackerman. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
