Claudia Landry wrote a sympathy message

“I will always remember Jay as a man of character. He was a kind and lovable Uncle. He will always be in my heart. I would like to share my fond memories of Jay as a brave young man who served our Country in the US Navy during World War II. I remember looking up to him as my big hero when I was a very young girl. I have precious memories of him dressed in his Navy uniform when he returned home after the war was over. My love and prayers go out to all who love him. Claudia Wagnon Landry”
