She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett Medders; her son Dennis Medders; her sibling Tay Guilmino; and her parents, Alcee Guilmino and Lillian Guilmino.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Medders, David Medders, Dawn Dozier, Denise Corvers, Dwayne Medders Sr., Donald Medders, Debra Medders, Lillian Brumfield, Daniel Medders and Doss Medders; and her siblings, Raymond Guilmino Sr. and Janice Klackle. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Metairie Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
