She was predeceased by: her parents, Althea LaPorte Smith and William James Smith, Sr.; her son Michael Sean McDonald (Lynn); her granddaughter Eileen Michel Lacrouts; and her sisters, Theresa S. Barrios (Cy) and Dr. Patricia S. Cook (Ernie).
She is survived by: her husband Patrick H. McDonald, Jr.; her children, Patrick H. McDonald, III, Colleen DeLucca (Jay), Thomas Shannon McDonald and Kelly Lacrouts (Michael); her grandchildren, Lauren Farnell DeLucca-Dembrun (Christopher), Michael Corey Lacrouts, Ryan Patrick Lacrouts and Gareth Sean McDonald of Lancashire, UK; her great grandchildren, Mason G. Lacrouts and Dylan Sean McDonald of Lancashire, UK; and her siblings, William J. Smith, Jr. (Thoy) of Simpsonville, SC., Maureen S. Lockhart, T. Michael Smith (Joan) of Baton Rouge, LA. and Denise S. Domingue (Louis) of Lafayette, LA.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
