It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julia S. Vercher (Metairie, Louisiana), born in Campti, Louisiana, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Jackson Smith and Mary Julia Smith; and her siblings, Jackson "Jackie" Henry Smith, Charles Richard Smith and Marjorie Looney of Virginia.

She is survived by: her husband F. Bernell Vercher; her children, William Vercher and Rebecca Beadle (Danny); her sister Linda Sue Fredieu (Robert); her granddaughters, Kathryn Vercher, Heather Bourg (Joey) and Kimberly McDonald; her great grandchild Alexis Frost; and her great-niece Laila Fredieu.
