It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June D. Toups (Metairie, Louisiana), who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Descant and Regina Descant; and her husband Harry Toups. She is survived by: her siblings, Aldear Laiche, Robert Descant Jr. and Dorothy Heinz; her daughters, Nancy Thevenot (John) and Lori Gagliano (Charles); her grandchildren, Daniel Gagliano, Amanda Gregoire, Jessica Glenn, Jaime Zapico and Jill Thevenot; and her great grandchildren, Skylar, Aidan, Caleb, Addison, Madeline, Harry, Jack, John and Owen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Angela Merici Catholic Church (901 Beverly Garden Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
