We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2021, at the age of 77, Kathleen Kolwe Shields of Metairie, Louisiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen Kolwe Shields to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kolwe and Agnes Farrelly Kolwe; her husband William J. Shields Jr.; her siblings, Frank Kolwe (Rita), Evelyn Giroir (Frank), Marion Kolwe, Jack Kolwe and Ronald Kolwe (Joanne); and her brother-in-law George Spaulding.

She is survived by: her sisters, Doris Portera (Sal) and Anne Spaulding; her children, Julie Celino (Joey), William Shields (Tracy), Frank Shields (Cheri) and Brad Shields (Bridget); her grandchildren, Cody Smith, Tyler Smith (Nicole Haydel), Trey Shields (Jaimie), Ashley Shields, Heather Shields, Victoria Shields, Rebecca Shields, Jonathan, Joshua Celino and Lauren Shields; and her great grandchildren, Ava Palmisano and Jace Shields.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lymphoma Society, http://www.lls.org or Blessed Fr. Seelos.
