She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Hossley Groome III; her parents, Mitchell S. Earhart and Magdelena Lezina Earhart; and her son-in-law Eduardo S. Guevara. She is survived by: her children, Dennis H. Groome IV (Lori), Michelle A. Groome (Paul Odenwald) and Mardelle A. Groome (Michael Stiegler); and her great grandchildren, Dennis H. Groome V, Gabrielle Groome, Ian Guevara (Anna Malley Vargas), Lynne Odenwald, Lydia Odenwald Kallet (Jeremy), Lilly Odenwald, Michael Stiegler Jr., Karen Stiegler, Skyler Levron, Sydney Levron, Oscar Vargas and Everett Kallet.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
