He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pravata and Mary Burregi Pravata; his wife Geraldine "Gerry" E. Bravata; and his siblings, Rosie Bonura, Josie Catalanotte, Carmella Barraco, Lena Messina, Pete Pravata, Philip Pravata, Sam Pravata, Joe Pravata and Nace Bravata.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn B. Bauer (Eric); his grandsons, Ethan and Chase Bauer; and his sister Annie Catalanotto. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
